Actively involved and consistent effort in all parts of the class.

Generally involved and good effort in most parts of the class.

Usually involved and some effort in class.

Minimal involvement in class. Little or no effort.

Did not participate in class.

Following Directions

Follows all directions the first time.

Follows directions most of the time.

Follows directions some of the time.

Does not demonstrate the ability to follow directions.

Chooses not to follow any directions instructed by the teacher.


Consistently demonstrates proper safety practices at all times.

Sufficiently demonstrates proper safety most of the time.

Occasionally displays unsafe behavior.

Displays frequent unsafe behavior.

Behavior is repeatedly unsafe after multiple warnings.
