SAE Families and Students - Welcome to 2018-19 School Year

I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are ready to start your new school year on August 13th.  
 

We are thrilled that you and your children are a part of our community and look forward to an exciting year. We thank you for making The School of Arts and Enterprise your educational home. We are now 15 years strong and continue to provide extraordinary learning opportunities for all students.

I would like to introduce you to Monica Rosales, our new middle school counselor. She brings experience as a middle school counselor and teacher to our campus. Her commitment to college counseling will benefit our student’s long -range goals.

 
Congratulations to The SAE - We have once again been selected from CDE ( California Department of Education)  - as a Demonstration Site  for Arts Media and Entertainment - Career Pathway.  We are 1 of 7 sites in the state!!!!
 
 
The SAE has been recognized a second year by US News and World Report as one of the Best High Schools in the nation, earning a silver medal for academic achievement. Ranks are based on a school’s performances on state required tests and how well students are prepared for college.
 
Please welcome our newest staff members.The SAE looks forward to continuing to be a vibrant member of the community and a viable solution to your child’s educational needs that is dedicated to bridging the creative divide, narrowing the achievement gap, and providing services for all children to be prepared to enter 4 year college/university.

Great First Day of School @ SAE

What a great day at The SAE!

 

So many wonderful and talented students started their new school year today. SAE Students were on time and eager to meet their teachers and see their friends. Our strong academic and arts programs will continue to help prepare students for their college and career choices. Our SAE culture is an important part for our students, families and staff to feel valued. Thank you students and staff for making the SAE so amazing!

Welcome to the 2015-2016 School Year

What's up at the SAE? 
 
This is an exciting year. We have finished building our grades 6-12 Arts and Academic programs and The SAE students are ready to begin their new year on August 17th.
 
The SAE is excited to introduce some of our new staff to our school this year. As many of you are aware this year we are now complete with our expansion plans for our middle school and arts programs. Our talented and credentialed teachers are ready for this very special school year. The teachers have been involved in many days of professional develop this past week.
 
SAE Teachers are equipped with the materials and resources to continue to teacher the Common Core State Standards while enhancing their curriculum with the Arts. Student Achievement continues to be our focus as our outstanding graduation and college going rates are amongst the highest in the area. 
 
We welcome are parents and guardians to become more involved this year, your participation is always appreciated and the benefit is priceless to our SAE community.
 
This year we will have late start Mondays. Please remember that school starts at 9:00 am, every Monday!  Tuesday - Friday will be regular day schedules
 
Class schedules will be distributed on Monday during House class.
