About Me

When I first went to college, I thought I wanted to be a doctor.  After an Anatomy class, where I worked with a cadaver, I realized that medicine was not for me.  I wanted to work with kids, but the healthy ones, not the sick ones.  I changed my major, and graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2005.  After one year of teaching I realized that it was my niche and I went back to school and got my credential and Master’s of Education from APU.  In 2013 I cleared my credential at UCR.

I first started my career as an elementary teacher.  I taught fourth grade for four years, and third grade for two years, before moving up to middle school.  I then taught sixth through eighth grade math and science for five years before moving to the SAE.  This is my second year at the SAE and I’m very excited to spend the year with you exploring Science.

  • Work on research piece of four quadrant NGSS

  • Make observations-data table, take pictures

    Work on research piece of four quadrant NGSS, using information from both Amoeba Sisters videos, and internet. Cite sources.

  • Discuss and transfer research to big paper

  • Homework:  Complete research if not completed in class.
